FundRacing for Vitamin Angels!
No...that's not a typo! After an 90-pound weight loss and 1 year of training, Natrol's General Counsel, Steven S. Spitz, will be racing in the 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship, October 11, on the Big Island of Hawaii (Kailua-Kona), and raising funds for Vitamin Angels. The Ironman consists of a 2.4-mile ocean swim, a 112-mile bike, and a 26.2-mile run, with a 17-hour cut-off.
Steven's Ironman is being sponsored by sports nutrition company (and Natrol subsidiary) Medical Research Institute (MRI). Steven fuels his nutrition needs with MRI's Pro-NOS® , Natrol® Tonalin® CLA and Natrol® Glucosamine Chondroitin & MSM to help achieve his quest to be his best.
Steven has named Vitamin Angels as his official charity for the Ironman's Janus Charity Challenge. Vitamin Angels focuses on the reduction of child mortality by connecting essential micronutrients, especially Vitamin A, with children under 5, through conventional and innovative distribution systems.
Please help Steven reach his goal. $5, $10, $25 or more – every dollar counts – to save children from a lifetime of blindness! You can help Steven reach his goal by donating any dollar amount at: http://januscharitychallenge.kintera.org/worldchampionship08/spitz.
